International RiverFoundation

The International RiverFoundation is the leading advocate and catalyst for the protection and restoration of the world’s rivers. The organisation was established in 2003 as an independent not-for-profit organisation in response to the critical state of many of the world’s rivers.

From the Danube River in Europe to the Mekong River in South-East Asia and the Murray-Darling Basin in Australia, International RiverFoundation (IRF) is working in partnerships around the world to drive the protection and restoration of the world’s rivers, lakes and wetlands. As an international dynamic NGO we have a meaningful, measurable and life-changing impact on individuals and communities by helping them restore and sustainably manage their rivers for improved health, ecological, economic, and social outcomes.

IRF provides companies and individuals with the opportunity to be part of the solution and to establish an enduring legacy.
