Master of Environmental Science

This course is concerned with the interactions between humans and their bio-geological contexts with the aim of reintegrating the two with the insights offered by both the humanities and the sciences. Research emphasises the processes behind human-environment interactions, the development of policy, and the implementation of management strategies favourable to the environment. The program offers a primary insight into the nature of the environmental issues through core coursework units involving interdisciplinary research experience and an understanding of the social construction of the issues.

Master of Environment and Sustainability

The course is designed to meet the needs of graduates from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds who wish to enhance their qualifications for careers in environmental policy and analysis, planning, consulting, education, advocacy and management. Its comprehensive set of core units provides knowledge and skills to critically analyse problems of environment and sustainability and to propose realistic solutions in both personal and professional settings.
