International Students

International students applying to the IWC Master of Integrated Program should download an International Student Application for Graduate Coursework Studies

Completed applications can be submitted with a non-refundable application fee of AUD$50 to one of the University’s authorised representatives or directly to the International Admissions Section:

Domestic Students

Australian students applying to the IWC Master of Integrated Program should download an Australian Student Application for Postgraduate Coursework.  Please note, this course is offered in full-time, face-to-face mode only.  Domestic students may not apply on a part-time basis.  Completed applications can be submitted to the University of Queensland in person or by mail:

Admissions Criteria

Prospective students must meet the following prerequisites for entry into the program:

  • At a minimum, a four year undergraduate degree (Honours or equivalent) in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution
  • Appropriate Academic English language skills as demonstrated by an officially recognised test of English language proficiency (see www.uq.edu.au/international /language-requirements)
  • Professional experience in a water related field is preffered.

Program costs

The International WaterCentre Integrated Water Management Program course fees are as follows:

2008 course fees:  12,360 per semester
2009 course fees:  12,800 per semester

Important Dates

The IWC Master of Integrated Water Management begins in Semester 1 of each year. Applications are accepted before the start of Semester 1 only. 

Students should ensure sufficient time for the university to process the application and issue an offer. International students should allow time to organise a student visa, which could take up to six months.

Semesters run from January to June for Semester 1, and July to December for Semester 2.
