The full-time study option comprises three semesters to be completed in either 12 or 18 months. The first two semesters are module-based, and include problem based learning projects to give students practical integration skills.
The final semester is devoted to an individual research project or industry placement in a specialised field of water management, undertaken in Australia or another approved location.

The part-time/distance programs are offered to Australian and New Zealand residents. Foundation and integration semesters are module-based and include problem based learning projects to give students practical integration skills.
Students undertake two modules per semester, and the final year is devoted to an individual research project or industry placement where students can apply their integration knowledge and specialise in a field of water management of their choice in Australia or another approved location.

- Lecture modules teach knowledge and skills across a wide range of disciplines.
- Team projects allow you to apply your knowledge to real case studies in Australia and overseas.
- Field visits throughout Australia, included in your tuition fees, complement project work and give you first-hand experience.
- Network building helps you establish networks with national and international specialists by attending Australian conferences on water management.
- Problem-based learning approaches allows you to learn and use practical skills to analyse and solve water-related problems.
