In 2010 IWC hosted 20 professionals from various key Indonesian water agencies (BAPPENAS) during a four week professional development program to explore integrated water and sanitation management in the context of climate change.

In 2011 IWC hosted 20 professionals from the Ministry of National Development and Planning (BAPPENAS), and other organisations in Indonesia, during a three week professional development program to broaden their skills in water and sanitation in an integrated water management context.

In 2010 the IWC conducted a ten-week training program in Water Supply Management in an Integrated Water Resources Management context for a group of professionals from the Indonesia Water Supply Association (PERPAMSI).
Institutional support for education and training in water and sanitation, public sector linkages program
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of Timorese higher education institutions, staff and students in engineering, especially within the water and sanitation fields.
International WaterCentre's CEO, Mark Pascoe, worked with World Vision Australia, WaterAid and the AusAID Water Group to deliver workshops raising awareness on AusAID’s Safe Water Guide in June 2006.
