It's 150 years since Ipswich became a city. And, Queensland's oldest provincial city is now one of the fastest growing in the State. But success has come at a price. The Bremer River has been fouled by development and industry. But as Kathy McLeish reports, on the city's birthday, there are hopes the tide is turning.
