Building a strong business case for water sensitive city projects and programs
If you have had trouble gaining support for new raingardens, wetlands, waterway rehabilitation or water reuse schemes, this business skills course will help you to make your water sensitive projects or programs happen.
The course is designed to help urban water professionals to understand, influence and respond to the processes, stakeholders and key decision makers to help deliver water sensitive city (WSC) projects and programs implemented.
- Hands-on, experiential learning, focused on developing the skills needed to develop and effectively gain support for WSC project and program business cases
- Individually and organisationally tailored return-to-work learning plans to guide business case learning
- Becoming part of a network of practitioners across the Australian urban water sector
- Production of valuable outputs for the participant’s organisations related to business case development
The course includes a two day face-to-face intensive 14-15 April at the University of Western Australia in Perth and an online learning component of approximately two hours per month May – June, 2016.
