Business Forum: delivering the Sustainable Development Goals
The Monash Sustainable Development Institute is hosting a Business Forum on Wednesday 12 October during the International Water Association’s World Water Congress in Brisbane. The Forum will build upon the themes developed by WaterAid UK Chief Executive Officer Barbara Frost and Monash Sustainable Development Institute Chair John Thwaites, during their keynote addresses presented at this year’s IWA World Water Congress in Brisbane.
The forum will begin with a seminar that will look at what is being done in practice to deliver Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 with a focus on the work of the Sustainable Development Goals Solutions Network and that of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector. Both presentations will emphasise the high interdependence between SDG 6 and the other SDGs. A facilitated interactive discussion with the audience will follow the presentations.
Who should attend?
Water industry representatives (government and non-government) who are involved with policy development and delivery of water strategies and programs in both developed and developing countries.
The Forum will take place in Business Forum Room 1 on Wednesday 12 October at 11.15am.
