CRC for Water Sensitive Cities - The Year in Review
The CRC for Water Sensitive Cities (CRCWSC) has completed its second year of operation. With 34 research projects well underway, the CRCWSC has delivered a number of research synthesis activities to bring together the learnings from research projects in developing context-specific solutions for transforming cities and towns into water sensitive cities. It has also seen a number of local government adopt the outputs and recommendations from CRC projects into their policies.
Professor Tony Wong, CEO, will present highlights of CRCWSC activities and achievements during this 2nd year of operation and the progressive realisation of the value proposition for CRCWSC participants. Hear the planned outline of activities for the next 12 months as the CRCWSC continues to ramp up its synthesis of the outputs and learnings from its myriad of inter-disciplinary research activities.
Also presenting will be Brisbane City Council and Jan Orton from Marrickville Council on the evolution of the partnership, and special guest, Julie McLellan, CEO of Healthy Waterways, who will give her view on how QLD can benefit from such partnerships.
