Learn how to network and exert influence - free Water Leadership Workshop in Sydney

Join this interactive workshop where Kevin Young, Managing Director of Sydney Water, will speak about his personal leadership experience and Dr Andre Taylor, IWC Leadership Specialist, will share tips on how to network and exert influence.

Workshop overview

This workshop is being presented by the Water Leadership Network, which a group of likeminded individuals who are interested in the development and advancement of leadership skills in the water industry. Leadership is not just for those with authority. They are all types of leaders in the water industry at all different levels. Leadership can help encourage creativity, maximise productivity and shape a positive culture.

In this workshop you will learn by example. Through active learning you will discover how to become a more effective influential leader within your organisation. Exerting influence comes from building relationships, building relationships takes trust, trust begins with authenticity, and authenticity generates inspiration and collective vision. Leadership is also about clear communications and constant feedback.

This workshop will focus on learning from Kevin's experience as an executive water leader and learning about social networking and exerting influence as a key leadership skill. It will also collectively explore the concept of a 'water leadership network' in Sydney.
