Register now for Integrated Water Management events in Melbourne
- 28 January:
‘Water Drinks’ will provide IWM practitioners with an opportunity to network with colleagues in the water industry over drinks and canapes on the banks of Yarra River.
- 4 February:
The one-day ‘Stormwater management principles & practices’ training will provide a comprehensive introduction to the concepts of water sensitive urban design (WSUD) and water sensitive cities through theory and practical exercises. The training will include a visit to research and demonstration facilities at Melbourne University’s Burnley Campus.
- 16 February:
'Designing biofiltration systems training ' – Clearwater has partnered with the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities (CRCWSC) to deliver training on the recently launched version 2 of the Adoption Guidelines for Stormwater Biofiltration Systems. The training will present the research behind the revised guidelines and information on how to apply them in design, construction, monitoring and maintenance of biofilter systems.

Clearwater is a leading capacity building program hosted and funded by Melbourne Water. It is recognised for its role in providing the urban water industry with the knowledge, tools and skills to drive the transition to water sensitive cities. The program was recently recognised at the 2015 United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA) World Environment Day awards.
