Description of Project
An Expert Advisory Panel was established and supported to provide advice regarding the addtion of PRW to SEQ's drinking water supply. The panel also developed policies on the regulation of water quality, water allocation and management, recycled water scheme design and operational arrangements in collaboration with Queensland Health, the Department of Natural Resources and Water and the Environmental Protection Agency. IWC has been contracted to facilitate the Expert Panel for QWC.
Expert Advisory Panel
The panel of world leaders in ecotoxicology, environmental science, microbiology and advanced water treatment provide independent advice on the regulatory framework of the Western Corridor Water Recycling Scheme. During 2006/07 the panel members were:

- Professor Brian Priestly (ecotoxicologist, Australian Centre for Human Health Risk Assessment)
- Professor Richard Bull (ecotoxicologist, Washington State University)
- Professor David Hamilton (environmental scientist, University of Waikato)
- Dr Joan Rose (microbiologist, Michigan State University)
- Harry Seah (advanced water treatment expert, Singapore Public Utility Board)
- Professor Mike McLaughlin (environmental chemist, CSIRO)
- Professor Ian Frazer (Director, Diamantina Institute for Cancer Immunology and Metabolic Medicine, The University of Queensland)
- Dr Zelle Hodge (Past President of the Australian Medical Association Queensland)
